Microsoft Office 2019 Will Only Support Windows 10

Microsoft is providing an update about office 2019’ revealing that Office 2019 apps will only support in Windows 10. It is one of the biggest requirement of the Microsoft office needs from their users. Microsoft disclosed that if users want the latest version of office, without subscribing to the company’s office 365 service then users will need to upgrade your office in Windows 10.

While Microsoft has not clearly mentioned what new features will be spring on within the new apps. The company announced the preview version of new apps will soon release in the second quarter of 2018. As Microsoft previously revealed that the office 2019 will launch during the second half of 2018.
Office 2019 availability and support
The biggest news is that Microsoft has revealed in a conference that Office 2019 thus far is that the software that will only run on Windows 10.
Previous versions of Office approach is with five years of standard support and five years extended support. The total term has been decreased from 10 years to seven years.
As the company explained in a statement published in February: “Microsoft Office 2019 will provide five years of mainstream support with two years of extended support as an exception to the 10-year Fixed Life-cycle Policy term. This seven-year term will range with the support period for Microsoft Office 2016.”
Office 2019 will include the usual Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook client apps, alongside server versions of Exchange, SharePoint, and Skype for Business. Microsoft is planning to release preview copies of Office 2019 in the middle of 2018, and the software is primarily designed for organizations that aren’t using the cloud Office 365 versions.
Microsoft is also extending it’s Windows 10 support for enterprises and educational customers running some certain versions of the operating system. Windows 10 version 1511, 1607, 1703, and 1709 will all be supported for another six months to help the enterprises and education related users so that they can move to the latest supported versions of Windows 10.
The Windows 10 requirement is all new to the users, and it defines some currently supported version that is updated by the Microsoft on a semi-annual basis with new updated features—basically Windows 10 Home and Windows 10 Pro software. “Software that is very old, and hasn’t benefited from these type of transformation, so it is difficult to secure and inherently less productive software, ” Microsoft said. “As the pace of change accelerates, it has become imperative to move our software to a more modern software.”
Microsoft also said that it will not be shipping office using the older MSI installer software. The app will all use on one Click to Run the installer, which is commonly used by the Microsoft office 365 software.
Microsoft will update windows if users update their computer regularly.
